At bytedeals.co.uk, we are committed to providing a seamless shopping experience. However, we understand that there may be occasions when you need to return a product. This policy outlines how we handle returns and refunds. Please read it carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities.

Products Purchased via Third-Party Platforms

If you purchased your products through third-party platforms such as Amazon or eBay, please refer to their respective returns policies. For business customers, contact us directly for assistance.

Your Legal Rights

This Returns and Refund Policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK law in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods.

How to Return Products

To initiate a return, please visit our Contact Us page and click on Return Online under the Refund and Returns tab to fill out the return form for the quickest response. You may also contact our customer service team at returns@bytedeals.co.uk with your name, order number, product details, and reason for the return.

If the item was damaged during delivery, attach photographic evidence of the damage. You are responsible for returning the item using a tracked delivery service to ensure safe delivery. ByteDeals cannot be held liable for items lost in transit. Returned products must be in their original packaging with all accessories and documentation included.

Please note that software keys, once delivered digitally or physically, cannot be returned for a refund.

Return Conditions

Unused Products

Products must be unused, in new condition, and include all original packaging and accessories.

Faulty or Misdescribed Products

If your product is faulty or misdescribed, contact us for a pre-paid returns label. We will inspect the item upon return and confirm the issue before processing a refund or replacement.

Damaged Products

Notify us immediately of any damage upon delivery, providing photographic evidence.

We do not accept returns for products that have been used, installed, or altered unless they are faulty.

Change of Mind – All Products

You have the legal right to change your mind within 14 days of receiving your order. Notify us within this period and return the item within 14 days of notifying us. Items must be returned unused and in their original condition, with all packaging and accessories included.

If the product is returned in a diminished condition, ByteDeals reserves the right to reduce the refund amount accordingly.

Refund Process

Refunds will be processed within 3 working days of receiving the returned product and inspecting it for compliance with the above conditions. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method, excluding delivery costs unless the return is due to a fault or misdescription.

If software was included as part of the purchase, the refund may be reduced to account for its value.

Faulty Products

  • Within 14 Days: Contact us to arrange a return, and choose a full refund, repair, or replacement.
  • After 14 Days and Up to 12 Months: Faulty products will be repaired or replaced. If this is not possible, we may offer a partial or full refund.

All new products will be covered under manufacturer warranty, and after the 14-day period, any faults should be reported to the manufacturer. In some cases, we will be more than happy to assist you.

Digital Products

Due to the nature of digital products, refunds are not permitted once the code has been sent. Downloads and product keys are non-refundable, but we will assist you with exchanges or new download links, and store credit may be applied if necessary.

We sell codes for software activation that are issued only once and are strictly personal. Due to this, no statutory right of withdrawal applies, and you do not have a 14-day cooling-off period as with a normal internet purchase.

A free trial version of the software is available for all products we offer. Use this trial to ensure the software meets the minimum system requirements before purchase. If you have any doubts or questions, please contact our Customer Service.

Returns Packaging Guidelines

Products must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit. Include all original accessories and documentation. Items with altered serial numbers, intentional damage, or missing identifying marks will not be accepted for return.

Customisable or Bespoke Products

Returns for custom-built or bespoke products are not accepted unless they are faulty. Any order changes or cancellations for custom items may incur additional fees.

Damage in Transit

Notify us within 2 working days if your items were damaged during delivery. If the damage is visible upon delivery, you may refuse the delivery. You can choose a replacement or a full refund, which will be processed after we receive the damaged item.

Missing or Incorrect Items

If an item is missing or incorrect, contact us immediately, and we will resolve the issue promptly.
